Ok, I need to name Trina something different. I've been calling her Spark in honor of us being the light of the World. However I think I am going to call her The Teacher. She's taught DW and I so much in the 1st 24 hours it's amazing. Since we've been God parents for so many kids we know the mechanics of para-renting. But when it's your's and you're the one that can't sleep, because you feel someone in the bassinet looking at you. It's totally different. In my 1st 24 hours of being a legit daddy I've learned:

You really can stare at someone for 20 minutes and not say a word.
You don't feel strange sniffing someone's butt.
When you say "my daughter" for the first time it really strikes something inside. (Kind of like the first time I said, "my wife")
In 20 more minutes she'll look totally different.
You don't have to talk goofy talk, but you can have fun talking normally to an infant.
Digital cameras were made for people like me. 5 days old over 230 pics! Trina

3 more days have passed since Spark has lit up our world. I am sure I'll learn something new soon.
